Rich Batsford

Lifelong resident of the cultural and spiritual centre of the universe - Moseley, Birmingham. Living with beautiful Australian girlfriend Lyndall (sorry girls)
Rich is the latest recruit to the Gidea Park stable

He is a grade 8 professional Keyboard player and teacher who has sang with the National Youth Choir and The City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Chorus.

He has a separate career as a stand up comic on the national circuit and runs the Birmingham based ‘GAG Club’

Rich is a regular contributor to the Midlands edition of the Metro newspaper for whom he reviews local and national music and comedy events (Over 100 published articles so far).

He is a lifelong Beach Boy/ Brian Wilson fan and has recently interviewed Brian for a newspaper article.

Rich has been known to the band for some years now and has been known to join the band on stage for the occasional ‘guest spot’

His inspiring command of the upper ranges of the vocal parts has added a new and exciting edge to the bands sound

Music: listens to the Beach Boys more than everything else put together – also likes other 60s, 90’s guitar music, classical and clubbing.
